What can we match?

If you have a flat sample of a colour (no smaller than about 3cmx3cm), a piece of fabric, carpet, paper, wood, a tile or a piece of existing paint – send it to us at our address and we can match it to a paint colour using a Spectrophotometer. Once formulated we suggest purchasing a  sample pot then brush out the colour on a sample piece of card or wood.

Keep the sample in the area you want to paint for a few days, test it in different lights and at different times. Once you are sure you like the colour you can then order correct product and quantities for your project.

Question: How accurate are the colours that I see on screen?

Answer: We've made every effort to make the colours on screen as close as possible to the ones you'll use. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match. Photographs and paint swatch colours will vary depending on your screen settings and resolution.

The site is designed to help you get a better idea of your colour scheme ideas but you should always test paint before you commit to a large purchase. Tester pot samples of our products can be mixed to any colour of your choice or you can order FREE colour swatches of your chosen colours through this website by finding the colour and paint you want and clicking on "request a colour card". Special tinted colours cannot be returned unless by agreement with Decor 8 (Northern) Ltd.
